Since 2001, we have led the effort to connect Killbear and Algonquin Provincial Parks by multi-use trail. With over 230km available for walking, cycling, and riding, a trail for everyone!

What We've Achieved
Produced a fold-out and digital maps based on accurate GPS mapping of the trail created by volunteers.
Construction and reclamation of the Muskiig Trail segment in Carling Township for $120,000.
Installation of culverts on the Seguin Trail segment between Hwy 400 and Sprucedale at a cost of $40,000 and rebuilding of the trail between Woods Rd. and Rochester Rd. at a cost of $180,000.
Increased connection with trail users through social media including Facebook and Youtube.

Strong ongoing relationships with Honda Canada and CFMoto who have provided ATVs and SXSs for trail work.
Refresh of a P2P branding in 2012 along with a website through the support of Parry Sound CBDC, Muskoka Futures and NECO.
Strong support for charity through the Do it for Dads ATV Ride of Hope which has been running annually since 2014.

History
The Park to Park Trail Association was incorporated on June 6, 2001, however the idea of having a regional trail network dates back several years earlier. During the summer of 1998 the Park to Park Steering Committee met for the first time, following the recommendation of both the Parry Sound and Huntsville Town Councils. Since that time Park to Park has worked to develop, build and maintain trail across the 10 municipalities between Killbear and Algonquin Provincial Parks. Since 2003, 100% of the trail route has been registered by municipal councils, and in 2011 the final section of originally envisioned trail was completed.
The Park to Park Trail is a truly collaborative initiative, bringing together trail users, businesses, non-profits organizations, clubs, as well as, local, provincial and federal governments to create a region-wide amenity.
The Park to Park Trail network includes trail sections of historic rail beds and colonization roads, as well as newly developed trail, and road sections. We are a multi-use trail network, welcoming trail users on foot, bicycle, horse, dog sled, dirtbike, snowmachine, ATV and UTV.
